My project has to be NOT controlling light. I can only use the Sun. so no bounce cards no mirrors noting, just straight sunlight how it appears in nature. here is something I came up with. Im calling it "left hand"

AD ideas

Idea 1- Something smashing / slicing a shoe, and advertise steel toed boots.

Idea 2- Toe shoes climbing a tree to show there "gripyness"

Idea 3- Shoe sized pools of fire in a path that a runner would take. with text in the back to the future font. to show how "fast" the shoes are.

Idea 4- Converse with "high school" style writing on a notebook looking background. (show in center)

Idea 5- nike show centered with very dramatic lighting on a pure black to show all the shows "flash"

Idea 6- running shows in a bed with people having sex to show how conformable the shoes are.

Idea 7- Toe shoe, photograph some ones foot and super impose the show over it to show how "human like" the shoes are.

Idea 8- only show the "silhouette" of the shoe to show its "sexyness" and curves

Idea 9 - photograph toe shoes from bottom, human diagram pins like in a medical book

Wow, I have been neglecting this... Ok so for the hot-light project I wanted to do larger spaces and I have always wanted to shoot my mothers gingerbread christmas collection. This would also go with my concept of over consumerism, that I have been trying to develop over the past few years. So, I took a trip up and made her put her Christmas stuff up early =P. I wasn't really looking at any artist for inspiration, I was just wanting to focused on small things in the house and also get a larger picture of her collection.

Dear Color Film, I had forgotten why we hated each other so much. But just so happens Iwas forced to use you for the first time in two years yesterday, and..... I REMEMBER WHY!

1. Shot with exact settings as digital -> looked like poop.

2. Shot EXACTLY like the light meter told me to -> looked like poop

3. Even with only one stobe accidentally popping, all the blacks were gray, so it -> looked like poop

so I conclude that I will never shoot with color film by choice again =)
